The disappointing American Liberty $10 Proof Coin launch

First day sales of the 2018 American Liberty $10 One-Tenth-Ounce Gold Proof Coin on February 9 were a dismal 9,852, which does not bode well for upcoming sales and secondary market performance.
There has also been relatively little discussion of this new issue in the blogosphere compared to the one-ounce, high-relief version of the coin released last spring — or other higher-profile coins for that matter
Weighing the costs for the 2017 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set and American Liberty Four-Medal Set
In the past few days, the Mint has posted retail prices for its next two product releases: the 2017 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set (LESPS) and the 2017 American Liberty Four-Medal Set.
First up is the LESPS (product code 17RC), which will be available for purchase at noon on October 5, 2017

On March 2, the Mint made the 2017 American Eagle gold Proof coins available for sale on its website. The annual issues, all struck at West Point and carrying the W mintmark, consist of the 1-ounce (17EB, $1,560), 1/2-ounce (17EC, $795), 1/4-ounce (17EE, $410), and 1/10-ounce (17EF, $175) Proof coins, as well as the Proof Set containing all four sizes (17EF, $2,890)

The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee met yesterday to discuss a large portfolio of images for consideration as possible obverse and reverse designs for the 2017 20th Anniversary American Eagle Platinum Proof Coin, the 2017 American Liberty High Relief Gold Coin and Silver Medal, and the 2017 Boys Town Centennial Commemorative Coin Program.
