The United States Mint has temporarily ceased processing applications and material submitted to its Mutilated Coin Redemption Program pending the development of additional Program safeguards.
The Mint will post updates on the status of the Program on their website as soon as they become available. We came across this information recently when doing some research for a story we were working on
