World Money Fair’s gala dinner concludes events for 2019 and names Mint of Japan as guest host for 2020

As the official opening of the World Money Fair took centre stage on Friday morning with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, it was Friday evening that was the Mint of Austria’s opportunity to express their appreciation to those attending the World Money Fair.
Held at the prestigious Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts) which is adjacent to the famed Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin, the eagerly anticipated event is organised by the executive committee of the World Money Fair on behalf of the guest host

Exceptional turnout seen at this year’s World Money Fair 2019

This year’s World Money Fair was hailed a great success by attendants and participants taking into account the standpoint of ticket sales and a greater representation of national mints, international dealers, and experts in the field of coin production, design, logistics, procurement, and marketing.

Organisers were prepared for an increase in collectors and investors who were attending the fair over the usual three-day period, with this year being overseen by the World Money Fair’s new Executive Director Gitta Künker, who was named to the position in July 2018 and took over from Hans-Henning Göhrum
