Diving into some numbers and figuring out their significance can distract me from a crazy day in the office.
I took a look at the Mint’s sales report of bullion American Eagles.
The results should soothe the nerves of gold and silver investors

American Eagle bullion coins went on sale yesterday.
Would you believe the Mint can sell in one day more than half of all Eagles sold in 2018?
It can.
Platinum Eagles’ first-day sales totaled 18,000 pieces
Holiday shopping seems to be boosting certain Mint sales items. The 2018 clad proof set jumped by 10,711 to 406,984. Silver proof sets rose by 6,065 to 264,239
Nobody voted for gold or silver American Eagle bullion coins on election day. Zero have been sold so far in the month of November. No Buffalo gold bullion coins were sold, either
